Pontopharynx, from Latin Ponto, (meaning ‘Deep’ ) and Greek Pharynx, the Deep Throated Dragon is a member of the Dark Lizards family of suborder Draconia. The Deep Throated dragon primarily lives in subterranean environments and as a result has considerably poor vision. To make up for this, the dragon’s hearing is superior to other members of its genus, and relies almost entirely on its sense of hearing and sense of smell.

Vitrual Training Company order! yay!

Just this afternoon I ordered my second training DvD from VTC. My first order was Mark Bremmer's Carrara training course, this time around it's a DvD course for Cinema 4D. I should have the DvD before the end of the week, and I am so excited! Although I have grasped the basics of the following tools, the techniques and tricks with said tools I have yet to master! I did try using the Matrix Extrude when making grass, as I do not have the Hair/Fur module (an extra 500 bucks!!)

Other than all the glorified ranting I have been doing to my friends and family about owning C4D, I haven't done much other than model the casual doodad. I did make one mean raptor, but the critter is still fighting me as I try to UVW unwrap him. So hopefully this DvD will have some info on that. It does cover UVW editing, but I hope there is some tips on selecting edge cuts that I do not already know. Maybe a taxodermist could help

In that case I'll look for what other photos of Precious I have and will post them. I have one which is a reasonably-good closeup profile of him. That should be up within a few days.
